This rolling beast is related to Dragons; it shares their appetite and their powerful capabilities. Missing wings? No problem; it can roll!
Role: Attacker/Denier
Overview
The Dragonian Beast is one of the first Epic monsters released in the game. Unlike most monsters like it, however, it is easy to use and dangerous. It has good health and strength, but it lacks speed. It is still a scary opponent if used correctly.
Pros:
- Nice health
- Acceptable power stat
- AoE Stun
- Two 50 damage skills with no cooldowns
- 0 cooldown stun attack
- Easy rank up since it is breedable.
- Can breed a legendary (Deadwolf)
Cons:
- Special attack only inflicts daze
- Low speed
- Bad trait
- Accuracy is slightly lower than usual on some skills
- Stun is it’s only denial
Recommended Skillset
Epic Beast
- Jungle Fighter II (AoE 25 Nature dmg + Stun, 42s, 2 CD)
- Brazil Roll (29 Nature dmg + Stun, 15s, 0 CD)
- Biohit (50 Nature dmg, 18s, 0 CD)
- Rockorites (60 Earth dmg, 31s, 1 CD)
Recommended runes: 2 Strength, 1 Speed; 3 Strength
This skillset is designed to be a balance between an attacker and a denier. With one AoE Stun with 2 turn cooldown and one No-Cooldown Stun move, it does a good job at stopping enemy attacks. Rockorites is sure to destroy any Thunder monsters with one hit, and Biohit is strong against Magic monsters.
You Shall Not Attack
- Jungle Fighter II (AoE 25 Nature dmg + Stun, 42s, 2 CD)
- Brazil Roll (29 Nature dmg + Stun, 15s, 0 CD)
- Stone Rod (30 Earth dmg + Stun, 18s, 1 CD)
- Rockorites (60 Earth dmg, 31s, 1 CD)
Recomended runes: 2 Speed, 1 Strength; 2 Speed, 1 Team Strength
This skillset turns Dragonian Beast into a full-on denier. Three of his skills induce Stun and the other does heavy damage. By getting the first hit it could use Jungle Fighter II, allowing all allies to boost and/or deal damage. He could then either use one of his other stun moves, one of which has a one turn cooldown and the other having none, or he could use Rockorites which obliterates any thunder monster.
Counters
- Any monster with stun immunity can easily counter his only form of denial. The perfect counter is Hellberus, who has stun immunity and has more speed.
- Even if Dragonian Beast does get a turn, it still can't deny Hellberus. Not to mention Hellberus's high damaging Dark and Fire moves, the elements that Dragonian Beast is weak to.
